To get married on Rehoboth Beach, follow these steps:

Call Rehoboth Beach City Hall at 302-227-6181, ext. 123 or send an email to check availability on your selected date. The city permits non-exclusive use of the beach for wedding ceremonies on any day (including holidays) from sunrise to 8 am and after 6 pm during the summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day. If off-season, any day/time is acceptable.
*Please note, these time should be reasonable – no midnight weddings!
All beach rules apply, including utilization of parking meters in season.
Complete the Beach Wedding Permit Application and return it, along with payment, to City Hall.
Fill out the Wedding Application Form
The fee for a permit to get married on Rehoboth Beach is $200. Payment may be made by check or credit card.

Get your wedding license
Obtain a wedding license, which is good for 30 days, from the Sussex County Clerk of Peace.
