Parking Permits are now available at the Parking Department. From now until May 14, the Parking Department will be open Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

From April 6 through April 15, Grove Park is scheduled for an aeration project on all the mature trees. The process will involve shooting compressed air into the ground to expose the roots in a 10ft diameter circle around each tree, the soil will be removed and replaced with compost and biochar.
On Sunday, April 12, thousands of runners will take part in the Coastal Delaware Running Festival 9k, half, and full marathon. The route takes participants around the city and surrounding areas, causing brief closures and restrictions.
In 2026, Spring Bulk Pickup is scheduled for April 27-May 1 on the southside of town (for bulk pickup, this includes the Schoolvue area and Scarborough Avenue Ext.) and May 4-8 on the northside. City crews will pick up items daily throughout the work week in the designated areas.
The bollards have been installed on the north end of the Boardwalk and after a brief hiatus during the last week of March, work will resume on the south side. The full project is slated to run until May 15.

The City of Rehoboth Beach has approved an agreement with Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing Company to provide an exhibition and display of fireworks on July 5, 2026. Zambelli has been providing the fireworks show to Rehoboth Beach for several years, but this year is significant as it is USA’s 250th Birthday, so the show will be extra special.
