The City of Rehoboth Beach watching winter weather this weekend

The City of Rehoboth Beach is closely monitoring more winter weather for the upcoming weekend. Our crews will be ready to clear the roads in the event of accumulating snow. The main concern is the winds on Saturday night, with coastal gusts potentially reaching 45-50mph. Avoid the beach at this time. Please be advised that temperatures and the winds will combine for dangerously low temperatures and take any precautions necessary.

All of the salt used last weekend has been replenished; hotel rooms are available for city staff if needed; and we will alert people if there are any restrictions in place or safety notifications.
