Rehoboth Beach Patrol Lifeguard Ball Award Recipients Announced

Congratulations to the recipients of this year’s awards!

Rookie of the Year was from the rookie test back in July. Luke Cresswell had the best placing out of all the rookies from all the events. 

Lifeguard of the Year is a patrol voted award. Everybody casts their vote and Will Shoemaker got the most votes. Will Shoemaker is a Sergeant and represented the City of Rehoboth and the Rehoboth Beach Patrol by setting an example for professionalism and work ethic daily that other guards were able to follow and replicate. 

Charlie Bramble won the Dave Reynolds Scholarship. Everyone who wants to be considered for the scholarship must submit an essay to the prompt “How has RBP changed you and prepared you for the future?”  Charlie’s essay explained that RBP has helped him with decision making, leadership skills no matter position you are in in an organization, and to never stop learning.
