City of Rehoboth Beach Municipal Election 2026

Each year, the City of Rehoboth Beach municipal election takes place on the second Saturday of August. This year, it will take place on Saturday, August 8.

Two commissioner posts and the mayor position will be on the ballot. The deadline to file was June 1.

The following candidates submitted Nominating Petitions for Rehoboth Beach Mayor:

Commissioner Suzanne Goode
William J. Raak
Commissioner Susan Stewart
Commissioner Craig Thier

The following candidates submitted Nominating Petitions for Office of Commissioner:

Jeffery Goode
Commissioner Patrick Gossett
Commissioner Mark Saunders

As prescribed by city charter, commissioners will judge each candidate’s qualifications; this will take place during the Board of Commissioners regular June 18 meeting.
