City of Rehoboth Beach Executes Fireworks Contract for USA 250th Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

The City of Rehoboth Beach has approved an agreement with Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing Company to provide an exhibition and display of fireworks on July 5, 2026. Zambelli has been providing the fireworks show to Rehoboth Beach for several years, but this year is significant as it is USA’s 250th Birthday, so the show will be extra special.
The shell count will be increased in the body of the program from 700 to 912, and during the finale, it will increase from 780 to 990. Overall, the total number of multi effect shots will be 4,522; and the total number of shots/shells in the display will be 6,424.
“We hope you will all mark your calendars for July 5, as the City of Rehoboth Beach will celebrate the 250th Independence Day with extra fanfare,” said City Manager Taylour Tedder. “Zambelli’s fireworks show in Rehoboth Beach is always one of our best events of the year, and this year promises to be an even bigger blast!”
