City of Rehoboth Beach Election Results

Susan Stewart elected as Mayor, City of Rehoboth Beach

Patrick Gossett and Mark Saunders elected to Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners

City of Rehoboth Beach voters have elected Susan Stewart as Mayor, and Patrick Gossett and Mark Saunders to the Board of Commissioners.

Today at the Convention Center, 624 voters cast ballots in person with another 474 voters participating via absentee or early ballot. Each voter was able to vote for one mayoral candidate and up to two candidates for commissioner. A total of 1586 voters were registered for the 2026 municipal election.

The official vote tally for each mayoral candidate is below:

• Suzanne Goode                            177
• William “Jake” Raak                   23
• Susan Stewart                               632
• Craig Thier                                        203

The official vote tally for each commissioner candidate is below:

• Jeffrey Goode                 239
• Patrick Gossett             813
• Mark Saunders             852
• Stewart, Gossett and Saunders will be sworn in at the September 18 commissioners meeting.
