10/17 Board of Commissioners Meeting Updates

October 17, 2025

In today’s Regular Meeting of the Rehoboth Beach Commissioners, the following items were agreed upon. Commissioners voted to:

•  Approve request by David Kneller of 59 Baltimore Avenue LLC, to operate a new restaurant serving alcoholic beverages, to be known as “Fifty Nine.”

• Direct City Manager Taylour Tedder to draft and execute a letter of intent reaffirming the 16 points that were previously agreed upon for retaining Clear Space Theater Company in the City limits, previously voted on from the October 6 workshop.

• Establish a task force seeking to acquire historical designations for the Boardwalk.

• Approve contract with Gibraltar for purchasing products for the Boardwalk Safety Plan.

• Award contract to Ronca for Phase IV improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
