2026 Junior Lifeguard Information
Junior Lifeguard registrations will begin Monday, March 2 and will be strictly online, find the application below. Mail in registrations will not be available. The final day to register will be Friday, May 9th. However, registration can close early due to number of enrollees. We try to limit the program to 175 participants. Once registration closes, you will receive a message from me letting you know that your child or children are in.
Designed for children between the ages of 6 and 15, the Rehoboth Beach Patrol’s Junior Lifeguard program is designed to increase the self-confidence, physical conditioning, and ocean awareness of participants. The program engages both participants’ bodies and minds. Physical activities such as running, swimming, sit-ups, and pushups are interspersed with learning beach rules and guarding skills.
The program fee is $125 for the first child registered, and then $75 for each additional child from the same family. This year we ask that you pay (Cash or Check) on the first day you attend Junior Guards for the 2026 season (Starting Date-TBA). We are doing this to avoid holding onto checks for 3-4 months before cashing them.
