Tree Limb & Debris Pickup

We understand that the storm has left behind quite a bit of debris from downed trees, limbs and branches. Our crews are working very hard to access and clean up as quickly as possible. Please understand, this will take several weeks to clean up.

Our Streets Dept. has trucks out today picking up, plus it’s a trash day as well so be patient. 

Here are a few things to know:

• any large debris needs to be cut into 4-foot (or less) sections or they will not be picked up
• city crews will not be entering private property to clean up debris. Homeowners are responsible for what is on their property.
• The city may clean up debris that is blocking a public right-of-way.

In addition, the recycling center is open, and residents can take their debris to 37540 Oyster House Road from 9 am-1 pm Monday, Friday, or Saturday.
