Parking Update from the City of Rehoboth Beach

February 25, 2026

With the heavy snowfall, our crews are stretched thin right now as they work through downed trees, assist with any clean up necessary for Delmarva power to restore power, and support the Polar Plunge. Because of that workload, we don’t have an estimated timeline yet for clearing snow from on‑street public parking. We know how important those spaces are and will get to them as soon as we’re able.

In addition, the lower horseshoe area of Rehoboth Avenue – from the Bandstand bathrooms to the Boardwalk, will be closed beginning at 1:00am on Thursday, Feb. 26 to clear that area.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we all navigate through this historic winter storm!
